Who collects credit information and how can I obtain a copy of my credit report?
Credit reporting agencies (CRAs) purchase information from the three main credit bureaus. These bureaus include Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union. Only these bureaus can make changes on their records. The bureaus do not share information with each other, so to review your records and ensure proper removal or change of information, you should directly contact all three bureaus.
