How can I obtain a copy of my appraisal?
You are entitled to receive a copy of the appraisal report if you paid for it and if you request a copy in writing. Many lenders and brokers notify borrowers that they are entitled to a copy. Some lenders routinely provide a copy of the appraisal to the applicant when the report becomes available. If you want a copy of the appraisal, be sure to inform the lender at the time of application.
